PLACEMENT
The
publishers of DDI reserve the right to place all advertisements
within the magazine. Prospective advertisers may not purchase special
positioning, such as back or inside covers, right-hand front placement,
etc. All advertisers pay the same affordable ad rates regardless
of placement. Requests to be adjacent to, or separate from another
advertiser are acceptable and will be honored wherever possible.
Recurring ads will be placed in a fair and equitable rotation (i.e.,
front, middle or back) issue by issue. Please be aware that the
devoted readers of DDI scrutinize every page with equal interest.
It is more important that your ad is IN DDI, rather than WHERE it
is within DDI!
---------------------------------------------
DESIGN
DDI
offers a professional graphic design service for any advertiser
who does not have the time or expertise to create their own display
ad. Price for this service is $35.00 or £20.00 per ad, any
size, exclusive of Photoshop photo editing. Photoshop work quoted
on individual basis. See TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS for further details.

CENSORSHIP
GUIDELINES
Because
DDI magazine is distributed to 20 countries worldwide, the following
content regulations must be adhered to in order to achieve maximum
distribution access and maintain DDI's publishing policies...
* All photo subjects must be 18 years of age or older, with
legal documentation.
* No genital nudity.
* No visible act of penetration, including oral, anal, vaginal,
penile, or the explicit use of dildos, enemas, sounds, catheters,
needles or syringes.
* No extreme show of violence, pain or restriction (at publisher's
discretion).
* No use of weapons of any kind, including guns, knives,
swords, etc.
* No religious or ideological symbolism.
Note:
DDI magazine and Diversicor, Inc. reserve the right to refuse advertising
to any person or persons, at its own discretion.
---------------------------------------------
ADVICE
*
Remit ad materials and payment as early as possible! If you're late,
you're not in!
* Review your prepared ad, or ad content, carefully for inaccuracies
before sending it! Don't trust that you're designer knows how to
spell or has typed your phone number correctly!
* Identify your location in your ad, not just your name,
phone number and web address! You are advertising to the world,
not just your own neighborhood!
* Take good photos that help sell who you are and what you
do! For instance, a close-up head shot does nothing to explain about
your wardrobe, equipment or play space! Weak photos make for unsuccessful
ads!
* Choose an ad size according to your budget, but plan on
advertising for more than one issue. Our records show response builds
with each successive ad you place!
* Alter your ad issue by issue! Repetition of the same ad can prove
counterproductive!
---------------------------------------------
